ProP_{r o} and MroM_{r o} refer to required strengths in the HSS chord: Pro=PuP_{r o}=P_{u} for LRFD, and PaP_{a} for ASD; Mro=MuM_{r o}=M_{u} for LRFD, and MaM_{a} for ASD.
